Rosacea / Redness

Rosacea is a skin disease that causes the skin on the face and neck area to become extremely red and bumpy. Rosacea is very common and often affects middle aged women. The redness of the face can lead to other signs and symptoms of rosacea including:

  • Swollen face
  • Visible blood vessels and spider veins
  • Inflammation of the neck region
  • Acne breakouts
  • Dry, cracked or scaley skin
  • Puffy eyes

If you believe you may suffer from rosacea, first consult your provider to find ways to combat it. Finding what triggers rosacea and leads to flares can be the first step to dealing with it.
Those who suffer from Rosacea have very sensitive skin. If you suffer from it, then it is important to protect your skin at all times.
